12.26.09A Golfer’s ChristmasWell, that's that. Over 20" of snow fell on our sandy little peninsula a week ago; despite several above-freezing days we enjoyed a white Christmas. I use the word "enjoyed" loosely, as most of the golfers I know are already chomping at the bit to get back out on the course. It could be a really long winter. 05.18.09Match Play - Don’t Do the MathI am pretty good at math. Unfortunately, that isn't a positive for me on the golf course. Even without a score card in hand, I usually know where my score stands. Doing too much math is the kiss of death on the golf course. One should look only as far as the next shot, and no further.
