02.25.09There’s a Spring in My Step at the Golf CourseFinally, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Really. I know this because the days of having my breakfast coffee in the pitch black are behind me for the season. The sun is actually peeking over the horizon even before the dog wakes up, and it stays light enough in the afternoon to take a half way decent walk in the afternoon. 12.13.08Winter Wanderings on the Golf CourseWhile I was away, my favorite muni closed up for the winter. You can’t blame management for this decision, as the golf course is gem – a gem, but with poor drainage, under-budgeted for maintenance and played to death in season.
