God and golfers bless the weather on Cape Cod. Just one week ago we were being battered by a nasty nor ‘easter with 55 mph winds and white out conditions. We awoke to our previously bare fairways buried under drifting snow up to 18 inches deep. Today the fairways are green and inviting with just a few scattered ribbons of snow in the hollows, strewn like the abandoned and tattered remains of Patriots banners after a disappointing Super Bowl performance. Sad for Patriots fans, good news for golfers. At least we can all go whack it around for a few holes and get out some frustrations.
