Winter Golf

Winter Golf, Anyone?

I am a native New Englander. That being said, I am almost certain I lived another life in a milder climate. I am a child of the sun and warmth. I count the days from fall until the winter solstice when we are granted a few more moments of light each day.

Whatever the reason for this mild winter… El Nino, global warming, left over hot air from election season…. who knows… I am grateful for our still green fairways and lack of snow cover. Not even a smidge of ice is to be seen on our little penisula, and we find ourselves nearly on the upside of the season. We’ve still a good long haul before spring arrives but snow lovers take heart…

For those of you who crave the snow and ice, if you really miss those four hundred yard drives that skittle down the frozen fairway and putting on a greens that roll like a slab of hand-blown glass… it may not be too late; just a short flight away, you can check out these upcoming events, coutesy of Explore Minnesota Golf.
