Golf Fore the Good

Why a golf blog?  I am gainfully employed and sport a USGA handicap that doesn’t embarrass me.  What I don’t have at this time in my life is the kind of feel good job that allows me to “pay it forward.” At the very least, Golf Fore the Good will end up a mere creative outlet for this Cape Cod golfer, one who suffers too short a season during which there is never enough time to play all the golf I’d like.  At best it will evolve into a respected site golfers will visit and enjoy.

You’ll find posted thoughts on a variety of golf topics. You will also find some useful information and links to post your scores, looks up the Rules of Golf or get a handicap  (PLEASE get a handicap for crying out loud… more on my view on that subject later).  We are here to highlight amateur golf as well as the charitable spirit shown by so many golfers who give so much through a myriad of benefit tournaments. We welcome visitors’ input as well and expect that will add to the overall enjoyment of the site as we grow.
